Lightly Snowed Mountains of Mars Hill North Carolina

Had to stop and take this vid/pic of these mountains. The day is chilly with small snowflakes lightly dropping consistently on the ground and blowing in the air. That is the rear of the Mars Hill Retirement Home to the right, and some dorms from Mars Hill College on the left.

Mars Hill College, Spillman Hall

Gorgeous building called Spillman Hall on the Mars Hill campus in NC. Lots of glass on the bottom level, bricked up into the gables, and those classic dormers make this structure beautiful.

Stopped in Downtown Mars Hill today and saw this print shop right up the street from the Mars Hill College. If you are looking for any printing in Madison County or North Buncombe County, it looks like Dancing Moon can handle it.

Mars Hill even has their own little tattoo shop, and by the online reviews, Mike is very good at what he does. The parents of the kids going to Mars Hill College, (about 500 feet from this spot), must be having a fit, lol.

Mars Hill College, Owen Theatre

The College campus of Mars Hill has many beautiful structures... and construction going on somewhere on the property almost every day of the year. Here is a quick pic of the Owen Theatre at Mars Hill College. This is a wonderful college only about 25 minutes North of Downtown Asheville. The main flagpole (with the brick base) has the American Flag with the State of North Carolina flag right below it. May North Carolina stand behind our Country in Unity!

Mars Hill Ingles, from old to New!

Stopped by the construction site in Mars Hill today to see what was going on with this new Ingles that is going up. I will be very glad to see that older one go down, and this new one have a grand old/new opening.

Here is a great entrance to see if you are headed to college in Mars Hill North Carolina. This is one of the top colleges in the area, and is complimented by a beautiful downtown area (where I am standing), a Curves, a few little food places, art shops, and boutiques. Welcome to the official blog of Mars Hill North Carolina. Mars Hill is about 20 minutes North of Asheville NC. Mars Hill College is a great school in Western North Carolina. We frequent this small quaint town. Living only 15 minutes away in North AVL makes that easy. For some reason, it always seems like a little get-away. The town of Marshall NC is only 5 minutes away! Mars Hill is a great part of Western North Carolina.
